Stipan Tadić (b. 1986, Zagreb, Croatia) received an MFA from Columbia University, School of the Arts in 2020 and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2011. Since his first solo exhibition in 2009, he has presented numerous solo and group exhibitions internationally. Working primarily in painting, his practice also encompasses comics, murals, and, more recently,animation. Since 2012, he has realized public murals and projects across Europe, and in 2014 published his first comic book, Parisian Nightmares, followed by numerous contributions to independent comics and zines. Most recently, he served as Art Director on an award-winning animated short film that received multiple international honors, including Best Animated Short at the Palm Springs International Film Festival (2026). Tadić is the recipient of the Young Artist Award from the Croatian Association of Artists (HDLU), First Prize at the International Comic Book Festival in Łódź, Poland, and other national and international awards. He lives and works in New York City and is represented by James Fuentes.

In 2014 he published his first comic book titled Parisian Nightmares and participates in independent comic zines since then. He is the co-organizer of the Biennial exhibition of Antisalon which was founded in 2012 and is a biennial show which goes on until today. Tadic is the recipient of the Best Young Artist Award from HDLU, Zagreb in 2013, 1st Award at the International Comic Book Festival in Lodz, Poland, and several others, domestic and international.
